2017 has been another great year for Beaumont TM and we would like to extend our thanks and Christmas wishes to everyone who has helped us make it this way. To all our customers, we wish you all the best for 2018 and hope to see you there!
This year we have introduced a number of new products as we continually look to push the boundaries of beautiful barware design and utility. With 2018 in mind we have a lot more to bring to you, but for now lets reflect on what we brought to you this year:
The Deluxe Double Champagne Cooler
The design of the deluxe double champagne cooler is excellent, with a touch of modernity and glamour to the stand and a hint of past period architecture with the shape of the tub and eloquent handles on both sides.
As it is made from high grade stainless steel it is particularly durable, this stand should last you years rather than months. The stainless steel , insulated tub, on the top of the stand will also keep your chosen champagne or wine cool for hours.
As any hotelier, bar or restaurant owner will tell you: it is the fine details, the little things, that convince people of the level of quality of an establishment. This is the deluxe double champagne cooler, it was created with the highest quality, and most revered establishments in mind. Standing at the perfect table height it is the perfect height to just reach over and easily lay your hands on your bottle of bubbly.
Bar Caddies & Napkin Holders
Are you bored with the same old bar caddy designs? Let’s be honest for such a main stay on the front bar you would think there might have been a bit more imagination utilised by the industry over the years. Generally rectangular in shape, with four different sections for various stirrers and straws at one end and a napkin section at the other. We have been providing them for many years, albeit at least in a few different colours.
Worry no longer, we have heard your cries for more and bring you a new, very cool and modern range of bar caddies, we label the bar organiser. We have thrown the rule book out the window! No longer are the bar caddies resigned to a single level and a single shape. These new bar organisers, as you can see above and below, are set on their own little pedestal – they really are that cool. We like to think of them as the champions, convincing tired bar owners that bar caddies can once again be cool and relevant.
Available in black or chrome these bar caddies can adopt one of two personas on the bar: loud and eye-catching, in the chrome. Or cool and understated in the black. As will all Beaumont TM products we have carefully chosen the materials to ensure that the bar caddies provide good value for money, staying pristine and intact through many nights of service and bar clean downs.
Four New Copper Additions
In case that is what you were thinking, no we haven’t started hiring the country’s finest policemen and women – we are of course referring to our new copper plated barware in the form of our tin on tin shaker, napkin holder, medium flow pourer and wine cooler.
Copper Tin on Tin Shaker
One product that received more attention than any other at Imbibe Live was our new copper tin on tin shaker. Made up of one 28oz and one 16oz Boston tin, this shaker is perhaps the most beautiful and eye catching in our range. There are plenty of advantages to the tin on tin shaker other than pure aesthetics though, firstly as any bartender will tell you: the metal on metal seal is better than a metal on glass seal, covering off any pesky leaks during your cocktail shake.
Furthermore, the tin on tin variant of the cocktail shaker is great for keeping cocktails cold (or hot!) and with no Boston glass in sight you are guaranteed to save your bar and customers from a cocktail shaking-slip incident that results in smashed glass everywhere… As with all of our metallic products, the copper tin on tin is also made from stainless steel, ensuring that the strength and durability of the product is at its best.
Copper Napkin Holder
In June we released our brand new napkin holders and caddies, the simple elegance of the napkin holder was a particular winner and a copper version was inevitable – so here it is.
The napkin holders are designed for bars, hotels and other establishments that do not necessarily require the extra compartments of a caddy but still make use of a napkin, perhaps in service or for the customer to take at a time of their choosing. Designed to be pleasingly simple and square – as opposed to bar caddies, which are always rectangular, we have found that there is something great about a square napkin holder – especially in copper.
These new copper napkin holders can quite easily sit on the front bar for guests, the back bar for staff, or even in a restaurant toilets or hotel lobby. The modern design and the neutral finish ensure they will fit in almost anywhere napkins are needed.
Copper Medium Flow Pourer
Pourers can be a fantastic party piece for any bar or drinking establishment. Sitting proudly on the top of every bottle they are often one of the most visible pieces of barware behind any bar, as a result it usually pays to invest in something that works well and looks good – after all research has proven time and time again that customers are drawn to places with nice and interesting looking features.
The copper medium flow pourer certainly draws the eye and as it is a Beaumont TM designed product it is designed for durability, therefore providing good value for money. The copper medium flow pourer, as with the copper tin on tin, is manufactured from stainless steel with a copper plating. The stainless steel base provides the pourer with strength and longevity, seeing it through many a pour and wash.
Copper Wine Cooler
Last and by no means least is the copper wine cooler. We always enjoy adding a new wine cooler or champagne bucket to our Signature range and no more so that this sleek and compelling copper wine cooler. Replacing the Obella as the sleekest wine cooler in the range, the copper wine cooler is simple and minimalistic in design and eye catching in appearance.
A double-walled wine cooler, as with most in the Signature range, the copper wine cooler isn’t just about the looks – it also provides superior insulation, keeping your bottle of wine cold for up to seven hours! Although if your bottle is lasting that long we would say your doing it wrong!
The Mini Bar Mat
Our minimal, all black mini bar mat, not only looks stylish but can also slot together nicely with other mini bar mats or normal bar mats to give you more shapes and styles to work with when designing your service mat area.
You get everything from a Beaumont TM bar mat that would expect and more. The Beaumont mini bar mat is designed with an adequately deep tray that holds a large amount of liquid, but not so much that the bar mat is impossible to move and empty when the times comes.
Most importantly however is the high grade rubber that Beaumont uses for their bar mats. The high grade of the rubber used ensure that not only will the bar mats not fade over time and wash but they will remain strong and durable – with no warping! This is especially important when it comes to emptying your bar mats.
The Antique Brass Range
Elegant and subtle in its appeal, discover our newly created Antique Brass range. Consisting of a new strainer, jigger, muddler, tin on tin and bar spoon this beautifully brushed brass cocktail range not only looks great but performs exceptionally. Find out more about each of the new Antique Brass additions to our Mezclar range below:
Antique Brass Strainer
A core essential for cocktail-making is a strainer. You’ve got all the ingredients, you’ve ‘shaken not stirred’ your creation, but now you need to be able to strain the cocktail so that you aren’t stuck with all of those unappealing, floating bits of fruit, or all of that unnecessary ice. Strainers are a staple item in any bar. Our new antique brass strainer muddles together the beauty of design with an unparalleled ease of use. Suitable for any glass wash and with an easily removable spring, the antique brass strainer can be cleaned and maintained with minimal effort.
Antique Brass Jigger
We are not sure if we have ever seen a jigger as stunning as our new antique brass jigger. Resilient and good value, the antique brass jigger will last through many uses and washes before showing any signs of degradation. The brushed brass finish used on this jigger will allow almost anything to be wiped away with ease and the brass really shines following the application of a little polish – ensuring your barware catches the eye of passing customers. Similar to our preciso jigger, this jigger has the standard UK 25ml measure one side and a 50ml measure on the other, with 5ml markings on the inside.
Antique Brass Bar Spoon
Bar spoons are terribly important to a bartender, one of the mainstays in the bartenders basic bar toolkit the bar spoon has an interesting variety of uses, depending on the type of bar spoon you opt for of course. Originally designed for the mixing process of bartending, i.e. cocktail stirring, the length and size of the bar spoon ensure it is the best instrument for the job allowing the spoon to get to the bottom of any cocktail tin or jug. Our new antique brass bar spoon encompasses all the great benefits of a bar spoon, allowing you to layer drinks, muddle, measure and make use of the twizzled shaft.
Antique Brass Muddler
A muddler is an essential bar tool that is used to smash and squash cocktail ingredients, finding the best muddler for the job can be hard. It is used in some of the most popular cocktails such as the Caipirinha, Mojito, and Old-fashioned. Essentially the muddler is nothing more than a bartender’s pestle and they are very easy to use. Our new antique brass muddler is one of our easiest muddlers to use to date. Specifically designed to remain strong and sturdy during the muddling process, the antique brass muddler will make short work of your typical cocktail ingredients.
Antique Brass Tin on Tin
Made up of a 28oz and a 16oz cocktail tin, the antique brass tin on tin shaker really looks impressive on the front bar. The brushed finish adds a subtle beauty and the different brown and silver hues ensure it stands out from all your typical other barware. A tin on tin shaker is very useful as opposed to a tin on boston glass shaker. The metal on metal seal is tighter than the metal on glass seal, so you shouldn’t see any random leaks while you are vigorously shaking! Furthermore, the fact that both the tins are entirely metal ensures that if you are making a hot or a cold cocktail, they will remain as such. Just be careful not to leave your hot toddies in too long, otherwise you will need a pair of mittens to pick it back up again!
The Soda Syphon
A simple but elegant design, the Soda Syphon is made up of a large 1 litre glass chamber with an exterior aluminium mesh for added structure and protection. The main body of the Soda Syphon is then attached to a number of stainless steel and plastic fixtures that entail the lever and nozzle for dispensing as well as the cartridge chamber for loading the C02. Albeit cartridges are not included with the Soda Syphon, these need to be purchased separately.
Even more simple to prep, in order to create 1 litre of soda all you need do is screw off the top and fill the glass chamber up to the red line with water. Screw the top back on and then proceed to unscrew the cartridge chamber. Take your C02 cartridge and place it into the cartridge chamber screwing the chamber back into place. You should hear a short burst of gas as the C02 from the canister is emptied into the glass chamber.
Your soda will now be ready to go and all it cost you was a bit of tap water and a C02 canister. For optimum effervescence we advise putting your Soda Syphon in the fridge for 2-3 hours after you have added the C02 canister.
