Since Brexit, lots of little changes have slowly been taking effect. One place you may not have thought you’d see the effects close-up is on your back bar, but as the CE marking on all of your Thimble Measures represents the European Commission which no longer holds any legal relevance in Britain, you are required to replace all of these with ones bearing the new UKCA marking.
In order to give businesses enough time to cope with the fallout from Brexit, they are allowed to use CE marked measures until 1 January 2023 in most cases. The UKCA marking came into effect on 1 January 2021, however, so it’s as good a time as any to make the switch over…
